Hello, and welcome to other important constellations. We will go over:
Let's get right into it!

Hercules

Hercules is the 5th largest constellation, occupying 1225 square degrees. This constellation was named after the Roman hero Hercules. Hercules was often linked to the Sumerian hero Gilgamesh, and this constellation's history dates way back to Sumerian times. Hercules was the son of Zeus and Alcmene, and he turned out to be mortal. So, Zeus had Heracles have some of Hera's milk. And now that Heracles has had some of Hera's milk, he became immortal. Hera was super pissed off, and since she couldn't kill him, she made his life miserable every chance she got. She cast a spell that made him go insane and kill his children, too. When Heracles realized what he did , he asked the Oracle for advice. She told him to go to Eurystheus, king of Mycenae, and that's when Heracles recieved his 12 labors.

Orion

Orion is the 26th largest constellation, occupying 594 degrees. Orion represents the famous hunter inn Greek Mythology, Orion. One day, he got super drunk and tried to force himselfon his crush, Merope. When King Oenopion found out, he turned Orion blind and banished him to the island of Chios. Hephaestus felt bad, so he gave Orion one of his assisstants to be his "eyes." Orion then miraculously ran into an Oracle, and the oracle said that his eyesight would be restored if he heads east. So, he went east and got his eyesight back. There are plenty more myths, but we'll stop there.

Andromeda

Andromeda is the 19th largest constellation, occupying 722 degrees. Andromeda represents Andromeda, the daughter of King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia. She offended the nymphs by saying that she was more beautiful than them. So, the nymphs filed a complaint against her to Poseidon, and Poseidon decided to flood Cepheus's land as a punishment for his daughter's bragging. Cepheus was depresse and asked an Oracle how to prevent the flood. The oracle told the king to sacrifice Andromeda to Cetus. And that's how Andromeda ended chained up to a rock. But luckily for her, Perseus came along and saved her. They soon got married and and 6 children.

Monoceros

Monoceros is the 35th largest constellation, occupying 482 square degrees. Monoceros means the unicorn in latin. Monocerus first showed up on a globe by Dutch cartographer and clergyman Petrus Plancius in 1612 as Monocerus Unicornis. Plancius thought this was cool because the mythical animal appeared many times in the Old Testament and Bible. Although the constellation is not accosiated with ant myth in particular, German astronomer Jakob Bartsch included the constellation in the 1624 star chart as Unicornis, but now it's known as Monoceros.
